Increase Breast Size With Exercise, Pectoral Muscle Enlargement & Tone, 2008-01-17

While breast enlargement surgery is certainly the only way to guarantee bigger breasts, women who are not yet ready for such a step may find that exercises designed to tone the chest muscles may also increase apparent breast size.

Breasts, of course, are made of tissue, and no amount of exercise will actually grow more tissue, but toning exercises help to firm up the chest muscles on which breasts lie, which, in turn, helps to improve the overall firmness of the breasts

Get any thoughts of Judy Blume-esque  "we must, we must, we must increase our bust" chanting and torso twisting out of your head, however. Instead, consider the following toning techniques:

  • Kneeling Dips

Kneel on the floor with your knees apart, then lower your body until your head is within the region between your thighs. If you don't feel the stretching in your chest, you aren't doing it right. This exercise not only stretches your back, but it also tones the very front of your chest.

  • Pushups

Basic pushups help to tone the chest muscles, as well as working out your upper arms. For this exercise, keep your knees touching each other, and your palms flat on the floor.

  • Side stretches
Sit upright in a chair, with your feet on the floor, and put your arms on your hips. Keeping your spine as straight as possible, turn as far to the left as you can, and hold the position, then release, and repeat on the right side.

Will these exercises really help? Perhaps not, but if nothing else you will have a better-toned upper body. As with any exercise, if something hurts don't do it again, and be sure to let your body's natural weight guide stretches. Don't bounce!
